The pier is the heart of Cala Ratjada, home of the promenade that comes from the Son Moll beach, next to which are the first buildings of the nucleus, many of them converted into bars and restaurants. The walk from the pier continuous up to Cala Gat along the section called Paseo de Ses Àmfora (anchors), which highlights the absence of buildings and a monumental sculpture made with old anchors. The port of Cala Ratjada is a refuge for fishing boats and pleasure yachts. There are also boats that make trips along the coast, one of which connects with the daily Cala Rajada port of Ciutadella, on the neighboring island of Menorca.

Sa Font de sa Cala is two kilometers from Cala Ratjada. This beach touristic and between low cliffs, has been artificially regenerated, by significantly increasing its size and changing the pebbles by a fine-grained sand. On the right side is a channel that closes the beach, while on the left side there are pine trees on a terrace. It is very comfortable, quiet and shallow waters.
Maritime and underwater conditions are optimal for anchoring a boat, although the strong winds can occur any problem. It is recalled that sa Font de sa Cala is open to the air masses of the first and second quadrants.
These characteristics explain that this piece of coast recorded a massive influx of locals and tourists.
