The area is perfect for taking a wine cellar tour and savouring delicacies surrounded by vineyards. We also recommend a tour of the Sabaudi castles (Grinzate Cavour Castle 32 km; Serralunga dAlba Castle 35 km). You can also visit the beautiful hamlet of Barolo (25 km), Dogliani (25 km), Alba (38 km) - the capital of white truffles, where an International Wine and Truffle Fair is held in October - and Bra (32 km), famous for its cheese production. Trekking and cycling tours near Monforte (23 km) allow you to discover different wine routes. One example is the Bar to Bar route: 124 km from Barbaresco to Barolo through vineyards on a mountain bike with 7 stages that will show you the history, culture and typical dishes of the Langhe. Thanks to its museums and royal palaces, Turin (69 km), Italy's ancient capital, is one of the most interesting destinations for art lovers. The location is also favourable for visiting the nearby region of Liguria (the Albisola beach 87 km).
