The surrounding countryside is beautiful and offers excellent fishing and swimming opportunities in the fjord and small lakes nearby. From the cabin you can make trips to Lysefjorden and Stavanger. The Kongeparken amusement park is definitely recommended for families with children. This region has a flat landscape consisting of fields and farmland separated by dry stone walls. The coastline is popular with surfers thanks to the high waves of the North Sea.
