    “Peenemünde ist erholsam und ruhig. Es gibt einige Museen und einen kleinen Hafen. Wer es etwas lebhafter mag, ist hier sicherlich falsch. Der Hafen bietet allerdings einige maritime Sportmöglichkeiten, die wir jedoch nicht genutzt haben. Zudem gibt es einige freundliche Läden und drei bis vier gute Restaurants. Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen und kamen auch bei den naheliegenden Strandabschnitten auf unsere Kosten. Zudem kann man die Umgebung schön mit dem Fahrrad erkunden. Wer dem Trubel der klassischen Kaiserbäder entfliehen möchte, ist hier genau richtig.”

    “Für Leute, die es gern sehr ruhig mögen, ist Peenemünde ideal. Wenn man von seiner Unterkunft aus Ausflüge unternehmen möchte, eignet sich eventuell noch der Hafen, von wo aus u.a. Fahrten nach Rügen starten. Da Peenemünde im äußersten Westen von Usedom liegt, sind Ausflüge per Auto von dort aus eher mühselig. Im Ort selbst gibt es ein Museum und eine Minigolfhalle, einen Spielplatz und eine Handvoll Restaurants. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten finden sich nicht direkt im Ort. Auch der Strand befindet sich außerhalb des Orts.”
