Beautiful vacation home opposite the historic village of Montecastello di Vibio and only 13 km from Todi. The former farmhouse, one of the oldest in the entire area, has managed to preserve many of its original features. The house is set in the middle of a large garden and has a splendid pool and a small outbuilding in natural stone (woodshed) with wood stove. In the midst of greenery, enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding countryside up to the mountain Peglia. The location is ideal for trips to northern Umbria on the border with Tuscany: in a short time you can reach, for example, Orvieto (42 km) and Perugia (46 km). Lake Trasimeno near the characteristic little village of Castiglione del Lago (50 km) invites you to a pleasant day of swimming; the thermal baths of Sarteano are only 73 km away, the pretty town of Montepulciano 82 km. Parking on the property. The last 400 m of the access road are not asphalted. One of the bedrooms with double bed is connected by a door with the twin bedroom.

    “Het huis is goed gelegen maar het is verwaarloosd en wordt slecht onderhouden. Er is in het ganse huis slechts 1 enkele kast waarin geen rommel of etenswaren zijn achtergebleven.
    Er komt een doordringende reuk uit de badkamer en de lavabo lekt. Er zaten muizen in de kachel wat niet verwonderlijk is met al het eten dat in het huis achtergelaten is. Er stond muizenvergif op een schoteltje in de hal toegankelijk voor iedereen dus voor kind en hond. Toen we toekwamen hebben we eerst de keukenkast uitgewassen en de meeste rommel in de keuken opgeruimd.
