Casa Palü - Vacation in Architectural Monument

Vacation in Architectural Monument combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model offers a double benefit: the monuments are given a new future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the foundation Vacation in Architectural Monument (FiB), which was founded in 2005 by the Swiss Heritage Society.

Car park: There are two private car parks in front of the house. 

Public transport: Take the train to St. Moritz, then change to the bus in the direction of Chiavenna, Stazione to Stampa, Palù station.

Bicycles: Can be parked in the garage.

Number of persons: 5-6 persons (1 double room, 1 single room (with red folding sofa bed), 1 room with double bed on the gallery and 1 single bed, baby cot on request)

Garden: The house is located directly on the river Maria. Garden furniture is available.

WLAN: Is available.

Pets: Are allowed on request.

Casa Palü is a listed building that has been renovated with great respect for the existing fabric. The tenant is aware of this and treats the property with care. Although the technical equipment is modern, certain functional details do not meet current standards and are a potential source of danger. The tenant is aware of these circumstances.     “Sehr, sehr empfehlenswert Positiv: Alles vorhanden, was es braucht, persönliche Einführung und Verabschiedung der Besitzer:innen! Negativ: Betten könnten etwas grösser sein;-)”

    “sehr gerne wieder! Positiv: Das Haus ist sehr schön und mit viel Liebe saniert worden.
    Es fehlt an nichts und selbst die Küchenmesser sind scharf:)
    Die Lage neben dem Fluss ist sehr schön.
    Auch für Hunde ein kleines Paradies mit dem geschützten Gartenbereich.
    Die Vermieter übrigens sind unkompliziert und sehr freundlich.
    Der Preis: natürlich nicht ganz billig, - aber: ein unbezahlbar schöner Aufenthalt!!!

    “Ein schönes Heim in einer schönen Umgebung. Sehr empfehlenswert. Positiv: Das schöne, archaisch anmutende Haus liegt direkt am Fluss, der herrlich rauscht. Die Räume sind gemütlich, der Garten und der Platz vor dem Haus sind schön und gepflegt. Die Eigentümer sind sehr sympathisch und großzügig. Giacometti war auch hier. Negativ: Das Doppelbett war nach unserem Empfinden etwas zu weich.”
